Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
1) identify factors to consider during assessment of, and determining eligibility for, a child with hearing loss.
2) identify factors to consider when planning intervention for a child with hearing loss.
3) identify examples of each of the 4 primary factors that affect the audibility of a spoken message.
4) identify factors affecting rate of progress for developing communication skills in children with hearing loss
