General Session: CFO Update: Changing Times with a new Administration
President Trump has outlined an aggressive agenda for his first 100 days in office. This session will provide insights into the key elements of his agenda, with specific focus on changes to health care law, tax code, an economic update, and other relevant changes impacting non-profits.
 
Track 1: OMB Update
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has a new set of rules for organizations accepting federal grants and awards. They’re called the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal AwardsIf your organization receives Federal funding, even if it is received indirectly through the State or another organization, this guidance likely applies to you. Through this track, we will highlight key points from the OMB update, discuss the procurement and period of performance requirements, and answer questions.
 
Track 2: CFO Annual Update
This track will cover various topics relevant to the finances and accounting of nonprofit organizations.  We will discuss topics and provide useful information about the new nonprofit financial statement reporting, preparing for audits and internal controls designed to protect your assets and provide assurance of accurate financial reporting.
