Training Description

Apathy. Cynicism. Loss of Patience. High Staff Turnover

Front line housing professionals, as well as staff of organizations providing direct assistance and support, experience the effects of Compassion Fatigue at all levels.  This training, developed for all “helpers”, will explain how chronic stress from experiencing secondary trauma through care-giving can cause Compassion Fatigue.  Learn about the symptoms of Compassion Fatigue, participate in skill building, and learn strategies for building resiliency and self-care to better combat burn-out.
