The investigative interview with a child is often a critical piece of evidence in both the criminal and civil case. It is extremely important to have well trained, neutral professionals gather important details from children in a way that is both developmentally sensitive and legally defensible.
If you have ever wondered why interviewers ask and say some of the things they ask and say, then this seminar is for you. This class will not teach others how to conduct forensic interviews, but instead will help participants have a better understanding of the process to assist them in being able to describe the process to parents and community members and assist partners in evaluating the veracity of statements made by a child.
