The Technologist Course, "Merging Strengths at the Crossroads in Sleep Technology" is co-hosted by The American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST) and is targeted toward Allied Health Professionals who are currently working in both physician support and technical roles. The course offers another unique perspective for technologists with an emphasis on setting goals for the future.
The event opens with a motivational speaker who will focus on why yesterday should not be the tomorrow in sleep technology. Other presentations will address goal setting, setting up a successful CoA PSG program and how to market in order to maintain students, patient education and getting paid to do it, educational tools and how to use them, corporate sleep program success and a discussion on creating cohesion in the field with other allied health disciplines. Discussion on billing codes for sleep technology will be one of the highlights of the course.
