Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada – Section 1 (Group-Learning)

This event is an Accredited Group-Learning Program (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, approved by Continuing Professional Development, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto and L3, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, University of Alberta up to a maximum of 6.0 Section 1 hours (day 1 & 2 (morning lectures))

Each participant should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent participating in the educational program.

Course Description:

This one-day course will provide physicians and health care professionals with an approach to common endocrine problems.  The program format will blend short didactic presentations with interactive workshops and discussion.

Course Objectives:

At the end of this continuing medical education activity, participants should be able to:

  • Have practical approaches to several common endocrine conditions
  • Have received practical advice regarding diagnostic tests in endocrinology
  • Gain experience working through cases of common endocrine conditions

Transportation & Parking

The “Health Sciences/Jubilee” LRT Station is about a three block walk to Lister Centre. Parking is available directly outside the front doors of Lister Centre (Lot M) and along the side of the building (Lot R).
