New Ideas Create Improved Solutions for Hydrophobic Bioprocessing
The 10th HIC/RPC Hydrophobic Bioprocessing Conference will be held in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Firesky Resort and Spa from February 12-16, 2017. The conference is focused on the better understanding of the hydrophobic nature of biological targets and their isolation and purification by chromatography and other modes of separation. The program will emphasize current bioprocessing topics with case studies from leading biopharmaceutical manufacturers as well as the latest in research and theory from academia. As in the previous conferences, we are dedicating special attention to the fundamentals of hydrophobic and multimodal interactions.
The exchange of scientific ideas in a collegial atmosphere can create new approaches and solutions for downstream purification steps. From basic theory to industrial scale purification, recognized professionals will share their expertise and experiences on all aspects of the many facets of hydrophobic separation and process design for biomolecules. To encourage graduate students to attend the conference, we have introduced a reduced fee for students who wish to share accommodations.
The practical elements of hydrophobic bioprocessing development and implementation will be balanced by panel and individual discussions about novel approaches and theories. This combination will lead to a deeper understanding of the hydrophobic molecular interactions affecting selectivity and capacity, and the application of this knowledge to
large scale purifications.
Sunday, February 12 – Thursday, February 16, 2017
There will be a Welcome Reception on Sunday evening 7:00PM - 9:00PM
The conference will conclude at approximately 1:00PM on Thursday, February 16th, pending finalization of the program.
