11th Annual Student Resiliency Golf Invitational

CSJPA uses all proceeds from this golf invitational to offer bullying prevention programs in our schools. Recent U.S. statistics have shown that over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying every year, and over 160,000 teens skip school every day due to bullying. In California, 1 in 3 middle and high school students have reported harassment or bullying in the past year. Bullying is a cultural problem and CSJPA is on track to work with as many schools as possible to reduce the rising incidents associated with bullying behavior.

That is why we have partnered with the Blanchard Institute and Meritcore to help build student resiliency across all of our school districts. Our focus is to engage and inspire our school boards and organizations to develop a strength-based culture and approach where capacity is identified and nurtured toward positive change.

We have also partnered with Community Matters to prevent bullying on campus by identifying student "school leaders" and giving them the skills to stop/prevent bullying and improve school climate.
