A. Trevor Stewart, PhD., P.M.A.
Trevor Stewart, Ph.D., P.M. is this year's Henry Wilson Coil Lecturer. A former university professor and Past Prestonian Lecturer of the United Grand Lodge of England, Dr. Stewart is a highly regarded Masonic scholar, specializing in Freemasonry during the European Enlightenment. He has lectured on Masonic history throughout the world, and has published several scholarly articles on a wide variety of Masonic subjects. Dr. Stewart is a past master of Quatuor Coronati lodge in London, one of the foremost lodges of Masonic research in the world. He has served as right worshipful master at the renowned Sir Robert Moray research lodge in Edinburgh, and as an originating provincial chancellor in the Rectified Scottish Rite in Belgium.
Shawn E. Eyer, M.A., P.M.
Shawn E. Eyer, M.A., P.M. is an esteemed Masonic scholar and historian. Eyer is the editor of Philathes, North America's oldest and largest international Masonic research and education society, and the founder and editor of Ahiman: A Review of Masonic Culture and Tradition. Eyer holds a Master of Arts in Transpersonal Psychology, and a dual Baccalaureate degree in Psychology and Religious Studies.
Timothy W. Hogan, P.M.
Timothy W. Hogan, P.M. is a world-renowned Masonic expert and scholar, specializing in esoteric tradition and spiritual history. A widely published essayist, Hogan has also authored several Masonic books, including, "The Alchemical Keys to Masonic Ritual" and "The Thirty-Two Secret Paths to Solomon: A New Examination of the Qabbalah in Freemasonry." Hogan writes for Living Stones Magazine, and is education director of the Sanctum Sanctorum Education Foundation. He is president of CIRCES International, a Masonic organization researching world culture and spiritual traditions throughout history, and serves as grand master of the Ordre Souverain du Temple Initiatique, the inner circle Templar order for CIRCES.
Thomas D. Worrel, M.A., M.B.A., P.M.
Thomas D. Worrel was initiated, passed and raised in 1986 at Mill Valley Lodge # 356 in Mill Valley, California. He was Master of that Lodge for the year 1999. Brother Worrel joined the Scottish Rite San Francisco Bodies in 1988 and is now a member of Valley of Gutrie, Oklahoma Scottish Rite. He is also a member of the Societas Roscruciana in Civitatibus Foederatus (SRICF) where he served as Celebrant in 2003 in the Golden State College. Brother Worrel is also an associate member of the Lodge of Living Stones in Leeds, England. In the past Brother Worrel has been a member of the Royal Arch, the Allied Masonic Degrees (AMD) and the College of Rites. He is a lifetime member of the Philalethes Society and a member of The Masonic Society. Thomas D. Worrel now lives in Pasadena, California. He holds an M.A. in Theology as well as an M.B.A. He has worked as an investment executive, owned and operated retail stores and taught high school.
