13th Annual Play Golf. Fight Cancer. Classic

The missions of  UF Health Proton Therapy Institute are to provide the best possible treatment for cancer patients and to define, through research, the best roles and methods of proton therapy.

Since opening in 2006, we have delivered more than 240,000 proton treatments to more than 7,100 patients from the United States and abroad. Among the patients already benefiting from proton therapy are those with prostate cancer, pediatric malignancies, sarcomas, Hodgkin’s lymphoma, lung cancer,  pancreatic cancer,  head, neck and brain tumors as well as breast cancer and eye tumors. With almost 98% of our patients being treated on research protocols, we are generating evidence of the benefits of proton therapy.

Your support of the proton research fund gives us the ability to perform research that is changing the way cancer treatment is handled in the United States and around the world. By playing or donating in this tournament you will be supporting proton therapy research and helping cancer patients now and in the future.
