The Welcome Reception will be held 7pm on Sunday 9th July 2017 at the Townhouse Hotel.

 

The free reception will give delegates the opportunity to meet colleagues, and enjoy a glass of wine

Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner will be held at Moyo Kirstenbosch, on Monday 11th July. The dinner will be fantastic fun and will include the undernoted 3 course buffet meal (served at your table), 3 hour drink package and music by Marimba Band. Bus leaves from The Townhouse Hotel at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm sit down.

Acclaimed as one of the great botanical gardens of the world, this breath-taking backdrop of nature is now part of the warm, friendly and relaxed moyo African charm – beautiful vistas, Afro entertainment and cuisine composed of the best of African produce.

moyo Kirstenbosch is nestled inside Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens situated at the foot of one of the 7 wonders of the world.

You will be asked to tick a box on the registration form if you wish to attend where you will be charged AU$80 and then asked the same question so I can find out if you or your guest have any dietary requirements and whether you will require the bus

Crisp Moroccan flat bread drizzled with olive oil and dukka spice and Tunisian flat bread with chickpea and chilli dip

Starters

Free State sweet potato soup (v)

Creamy sweet potato soup garnished with sweet potato crisps and served with cocktail pumpkin rolls

House salad (v)

Baby spinach leaves, butter lettuce, cucumber, chickpeas, marinated red onion, roasted pumpkin cubes,

vine tomatoes, string beans, melba toast and toasted pumpkin seeds with mustard herb dressing

Deep fried triangles of puff pastry filled with curried beef mince and cheese & spring onion (v)

Mopane worms

Butter sautéed mopane, served in a traditional gravy

Oxtail Amos

Our famous oxtail braised with butterbeans and carrots in red wine beef jus

Maputo peri peri chicken

Made famous in Maputo – flamed chicken peri peri pieces

Zucchini, brinjal and mushroom smoor (v)

Slow cooked stew of zucchini, brinjal and mushrooms, with toasted flaked almonds, grilled peppers and chickpeas

Moroccan rice, African spinach and Nhopi dovi

(Zimbabwean style pumpkin and peanut purée)
