Joy Doll, OTD, OTR/L is the inaugural Executive Director for Creighton University’s Center for Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research. In this role, Joy is responsible for helping lead initiatives to promote interprofessional education (IPE) and collaborative practice for Creighton University and CHI Health. As a champion for IPE and collaborative practice, Joy has helped facilitate teams of both academicians and clinicians to develop comprehensive IPE to meet the disciplinary accreditation requirements for 8 health professions programs and works with CHI Health to establish collaborative practice. In addition, she has published a book on grant writing and multiple scholarly publications along with giving a TED Talk which can be viewed here. Besides IPE, she loves her family which includes her husband and two children.

Bianca Kiyoe Frogner, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine in the School of Medicine at University of Washington (UW). She is also the Director of the UW Center for Health Workforce Studies (CHWS) and Deputy Director of the Primary Care Innovation Lab (PCI-Lab), which are housed in the Department of Family Medicine. She is the Principal Investigator of two Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Health Workforce Research Center (HWRC) grants, one focused on allied health and another focused on the training and education of health professionals to address health equity. Dr. Frogner has also received external funding from several other local, state, and federal agencies. Dr. Frogner is a health economist (NIH T32 trainee) with expertise in health services delivery, health workforce, labor economics, health spending, health insurance coverage and reimbursement, international health systems, and welfare reform. She has provided services to The National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine to address health workforce issues. In 2016, Dr. Frogner served on an Institute of Medicine (IOM) Consensus Study Committee on Educating Health Professionals to Address the Social Determinants of Health. She has published over 75 peer-reviewed articles and reports including leading policy journals such as Health Affairs, Health Services Research, and Medical Care. Dr. Frogner’s research has been shared in over 170 scholarly presentations and her research has appeared in popular media outlets including CNN, NPR, and Politico. Dr. Frogner completed a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health. Dr. Frogner received her PhD in health economics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and BA at University of California, Berkeley in Molecular and Cell Biology.
