Friday, September 21

Grand Lodge Opening Session
California Masonic Memorial Temple Auditorium
1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
This historic session is the formal opening of Grand Lodge.  It will include the escort and introduction of visiting grand masters from other jurisdictions, a welcoming address from Grand Master Frank Loui, and reports from the grand treasurer, grand secretary, and grand lecturer.  Legislation will begin during this session.  Following legislation will be a historical video presentation, focused on Masonic regalia.
Attire:  Business suit

Saturday, September 22

Grand Lodge Session

8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (lunch break 12 - 1)
The tradition continues at today's sessions: Grand Oration, completion of legislation, election of Grand Lodge officers, and approval of the Grand Lodge budget and per capita.
Attire:  Business suit

Ladies' Event
Beach Blanket Babylon
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Jeanie Loui, wife of the grand master, invites ladies and family members to a special treat at the 163rd Annual Communication; a private performance of Beach Blanket Babylon.  One of San Francisco's most beloved productions, Beach Blanket Babylon is the longest running musical revue in theater history.  Hailed by critics and audiences alike, the production debuted in 1974 and has been delighting crowds ever since.  For more information, visit http://www.beachblanketbabylon.com.

Open to:  Ladies and children over the age of 5
Show cost: $60 per person
Transportation:  Bus transportation will be provided from the California Masonic Memorial Temple to Club Fugazi, located at 678 Beach Blanket Babylon Boulevard, starting at 1:00 p.m.  The show begins at 2:00 p.m.  Buses will return to the Temple following the conclusion of the show.
Optional box lunch:  An optional box lunch is available for purchase for $15.  The lunch will be available in the California Room of the Masonic Memorial Temple, located on "EH" level, beginning at 12 noon.

7:30 p.m. dinner
Join Grand Master Frank Loui for an evening of socializing and celebrating with the fraternal community.  Help recognize the accomplishments of members and lodges throughout the state for achievements such as 100% lodge participation in Annual Fund giving; raising the most Master Masons; and successful completion of all courses in the Lodge Management Certification Program.  Concordant and appendant body leaders will be introduced and will share in our festivities.  Rebecca Mieliwocki, recipient of the 2012 National Teacher of the Year Award, will give a keynote address about the importance of supporting public education.
Transportation:  Bus transportation will be provided to and from the Fairmont Hotel, the Mark Hopkins Hotel, and the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway Hotel.

Sunday, September 23

Public Ceremonies
California Masonic Memorial Temple Auditorium
9:30 a.m.
At Sunday's Public Ceremonies, Masons, their families, youth order members, and friends of the fraternity will gather to honor the past year's extraordinary accomplishments by California Masons and to welcome the year ahead.  Join us as we recognize and celebrate recipients of the Grand Master's Youth Support Award - an award given to Masons who give countless hours of their time to inspire and enhance the lives of Masonic youth.  Youth order leaders will share their experiences of the past year, and will reestablish the connections between their orders and Freemasonry.
Attire:  Business suits for men; short dresses or pant suits for ladies

Installation of Grand Lodge Officers

Be part of the 2012/2013 Grand Lodge Officer Installation, the 163rd in the history of California Masonry.  The Installation is open to all Masons, as well as their family and friends.  Following the Installation, please join us for a farewell reception in the Great Hall.
