On behalf of the 19 national Catholic sponsoring organizations, we invite you to attend the annual Catholic Social Ministry Gathering in Washington, DC, February 13 – 16, 2011. Our theme, "Protecting Human Life and Dignity: Promoting a Just Economy", echoes the message of Pope Benedict’s recent encyclical, Caritas in Veritate.
The annual Gathering brings together Catholic leaders from across the nation to pray and learn, to advocate and strategize, to share and support one another, and to strengthen our social mission and message. The Gathering provides an unequaled opportunity to see old friends, meet new ones, learn about Catholic social mission, and participate in discussions on some of the most important issues in our society. We would like very much to count you amoung the Gathering participants.
