2012 CGA Spring Meeting

Summary

The Council on Governmental Affairs (CGA) is comprised of representatives designated by the presidents and chancellors of each of the A۰P۰L۰U institutions, who serve as the principal points of contact between their institutions and their congressional delegations, federal agencies, and the A۰P۰L۰U staff on federal matters. The CGA is the entity within A۰P۰L۰U that harnesses the collective advocacy power of our institutions.

The quarterly CGA meetings offer sessions and opportunities for strategy discussion on the various federal legislative and regulatory issues facing public research universities. Session speakers include topic experts, Members of Congress, key Congressional staff members, federal agency representatives, and others. The meetings provide opportunities to network, share information and exchange ideas with other government relations representatives from our member institutions.
