FTA Motor Fuel Tax Section Chair Dawn Lietz, State of Nevada, the Rhode Island Department of Revenue, Division of Taxation and members of the FTA Board of Trustees extend a cordial invitation to attend the 2012 Annual Meeting of the FTA Motor Fuel Tax Section.
The conference program consists of general session topics such as updates from the Internal Revenue, Federal Highway Administration, Canadian Fuel Tax Council, Uniformity, ASHATO, American Petroleum Institue with more topics of interest to state motor fuel tax administrators and industry.
The annual meeting provides a forum for states to share their best practices and to hear about the latest and greatest in improved processes, compliance innovations, and more. Ideas, networking, trends to embrace, pitfalls to avoid -- all are included in the conference.
The conference starts on Sunday afternoon with registration from 1-6 pm, New Member Orientation 4-5 pm and the FTA Welcome Reception 6-9 pm.
The Uniformity committee will be meeting on Friday, October 26 from 8-5 and Saturday, October 27 from 9-noon.
