Lodging will be available at special conference rates at five (5) downtown hotels, all within walking distance to the Kansas City Convention Center. Please keep in mind that special conference rates:
- Special rates will only be available until July 17, 2012 (based on availability), so make your reservations soon!
- Special rates will only be applied if you remember to mention that you are reserving your room(s) for the National Conference on Tobacco or Health.
Additional rooms have been secured at the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center; these rooms will be available through August 3, 2012 (based on availability). Click the Rate Links above to review your options. Please note that the Westin is 12 blocks from the convention center and transportation will be required. The Main Street MAX runs to and from the Crown City area and the convention center every 10 minutes and is $1.50 each way. For more info on the fares click here (3-day Visitor Passes are available but must be mailed).

Please note that hotels contracted for the NCTOH conference reserve the right to charge the prevailing U.S. government prescribed per diem in effect at the time of the conference. NCTOH will post updated rates as they become available. For more information on the current per diem visit www.gsa.gov.

To take advantage of the special conference rates, book your reservation by July 17, 2012. After this date, blocks will be released and rates are at the discretion of each hotel.
All rates are per room per night and are subject to 15.35% tax (subject to change), and a city development fee of $1.73 per day. When making reservations, special requests cannot be guaranteed. However, hotels will do their best to honor your requests upon check-in.
The Kansas City Convention and Visitors Association (KCCVA) will send an acknowledgment of your reservation. When submitting, make sure to review that all information is accurate. You will not receive a separate confirmation from the hotel.
Email and fax acknowledgments will be sent within 24 hours of your reservation being processed. Mailed acknowledgments will be sent within five-seven days. If you do not receive one, please contact the KCCVA Housing office at 1-866-364-2140. (International guests: (913) 338-9423)
You can also check the status of your reservation online, regardless of how you booked your reservation.
Note: The acknowledgement will be sent to the designated name on the housing form. Please share the information with anyone who may be sharing rooms.
