2012 Features
United Industry Awards Event The continuing expansion of the iAwards sees it delivering the most comprehensive and up-to-date awards program in the technology sector today. With Australia’s three peak industry bodies - the Australian Computer Society, the Australian Information Industry Association and the Pearcey Foundation - building on a model of successful industry collaboration, the event will deliver a united and truly representative premier industry awards.
Pre-Dinner Awards Presentation Ceremony The National iAwards Presentation Ceremony is where each winner is announced and presented with their award: all category winner announcements will take place during this special pre-dinner awards presentation (except for the Pioneer Domain iAwards).
Innovation Showcase A colourful Innovation Showcase will be an exciting feature of this year's iAwards. Utilising smart technology and a creative use of space, all 2012 finalists' innovations will be on display. The showcase is open all afternoon at Crown, and is the featured pre-dinner drinks spectacle in between the awards' presentations and gala dinner. Take some time to preview and learn more about this year's finalists.
Gala Dinner The gala dinner recognises entrepreneurship and inspiration in our industry with the announcement of the Pioneer Domain iAwards. Special presentations will be made for individual excellence in ICT through the Pearcey Medal and Benson Entrepreneur Awards. In addition the Company Start-Up Category Award will be announced, along with the highly regarded Multimedia Victoria Inspiration Award for Excellence.
Earlier announced Company/Group and Individual Category winners will also be acknowledged throughout the dinner.
A night of entertainment The gala dinner will be a night of celebration, entertainment and networking involving the industry's finest achievers. Our Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be one of Australia's most celebrated pioneers of the filmmaking industry, Adam Elliot. Once formalities are over you will enjoy the fabulous tunes of the Baker Boys whilst enjoying the delicious array of sweet canapes as we bring back "by popular demand" dessert networking.
