A Tools Showcase will take place at the National Scenario Planning Peer Exchange on Monday, July 9. The Showcase will be a series of “mini-demonstrations” that would occur during the meeting breaks on Monday.
The purpose of the Showcase is to provide practitioners the opportunity to highlight their uses of scenario planning tools – these could be basic visioning exercises to very sophisticated travel demand forecasting or land use models, or any tools in between. The Showcase will allow attendees to see tools used by their peers in an informal setting and will be an opportunity for presenters to show the great work they are doing!
If you are interested in participating, please send an email to Kim Fisher (kfisher@nas.edu) and Alisa Fine (alisa.fine@dot.gov) indicating what tool you would like to present and a short description of the project you would show. The Showcase does not require a poster or complex set-up, we just want you to share your tools. We will provide a table, power cord, and wireless internet for presenters. Your response is requested by Friday, June 29th. We will be selecting demonstrations that span the types of tools and applications. If you have any questions please contact Kim Fisher at 202.334.2968 or kfisher@nas.edu.
