2013 American Atheists National Convention

Questions & Answers

Question: What is the refund policy?
Answer: There is a strict no-refund policy for this convention. However, if you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person or convert your registration fee into a tax-deductible gift to American Atheists. Please email Development Director Nick Fish (nfish@atheists.org) for questions.
Question: I have children and want to attend the convention. What should I do?
Answer: The Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science is offering low cost daycare for younger children (age 7 and under), which is available when you registration (until March 15). Children from 8 years old and above will be accommodated by Camp Quest. Click here to register your child for this mini camp. Individuals above age 14 who will be attending the conference should purchase a student registration.
Question: Will there be one-day passes for people who cannot attend the entire event?
Answer: As the convention nears, we get closer & closer to completely selling out. If we do sell out, we will have reached the maximum capacity of the venue, and won't be able to sell one-day passes! If we do not fill the venue, we will offer one-day passes. To be sure you don't get locked out, it's probably best to purchase your registration now.
Question: The website says that my payment went through, but I can't find the email confirmation. What should I do?
Answer: First, check your spam filter, and then make sure you are checking the same email address you used to register. If you still cannot find your confirmation, send us an email and we will check to make sure we have you in our system.
Question: Will I receive a paper ticket in the mail for my registration?
Answer: No. The registration process is completely digital! So, you should receive an email confirmation and may choose to bring this with you to the Convention, if you would like. However, it is not necessary.
