The Boston Pride Committee will host four Parade Marshal Orientations on May 1st, 9th, 14th and 19th. They will run about 60 minutes. These meetings will be held at the Harriet Tubman House, 566 Columbus Avenue, Boston, MA. These orientations will provide important safety information to ensure a safe, fun and successful Pride Parade for all involved.
As the parade route is new for many participants, both Marshals from each Parade group are required to attend an orientation. The representatives that attend the orientations must be the same people who will act as Marshals on the day of the Parade. If that is not the case, the group will not be allowed to march in the Parade. Marshals must enforce the instructions provided by the Parade staff. Failure to comply with instructions will result in the removal of your group from the Parade and possible exclusionfrom future Pride Parades.
