This year’s American Gas Association Financial Forum will provide the financial community with a unique and valuable opportunity to meet with over 120 senior executives from 40 energy utilities including combination gas/electric companies, natural gas distribution, transmission and diversified companies. With so much interest in the natural gas industry today, you will not want to miss this chance to meet firsthand with senior representatives of these investment opportunities. For executives in the energy industry, the Financial Forum will attract some 250 members of the financial community.
There will be organized energy company dinners, breakfast visitation tables, presentations and one-on-one meetings.
Highlights of the Forum include a luncheon general session on Monday, May 6 with former Comptroller General, David Walker who will discuss “Restoring Fiscal Responsibility and Getting Us on a Sustainable Path.” In addition, following the company breakfast visitation tables on Tuesday morning May 7, we will have a panel session titled “U.S. Natural Gas Resources: Are They Real and Can Current Optimism Be Projected Forward?” that will focus on natural gas resource credibility, current and upcoming estimates on deliverability, and the building of a long-term outlook for natural gas.
There will also be two outstanding technical workshops on Sunday, May 5. The first one will focus on the latest trends and issues in the state regulatory and legislative front and the second will present the latest on opportunities for natural gas utilities in combined heat and power (CHP) market development.
Who Should Attend?
Energy industry participants are primarily chief executive officers, chief financial officers, treasurers and investor relations executives of natural gas distribution, transmission, diversified, marketing/gathering and combination gas/electric companies.
