ABOUT THIS EVENT
The Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association invites both members and non-members who are involved in the oil and gas business to participate in the second annual OIPA Partners Open presented by Bituminous Insurance Companies. This event is designed to not only be a fun, networking event, but to also educate members and prospective members about the numerous members-only benefits that our association has negotiated on their behalf. These membership benefits programs offer association members significant cost savings on products and services necessary for the day-to-day operation of oil and natural gas exploration and production companies and the businesses that support them.

AN INDUSTRY WITH A PROUD HISTORY OF GIVING BACK
Over the years, countless individuals and companies from all across the oil and gas industry have donated a great deal of their wealth to benefit worthy causes. Without the generosity of those in our industry, many of the hospitals, schools, parks, libraries, museums and foundations we enjoy and benefit from would simply not exist. With that in mind, the OIPA is proud to announce Hope Link of Oklahoma as our charitable partner for the 2013 OIPA Partners Open.

In 2008, Ryan McLaughlin and Amy Haas founded the non-profit Hope Link Support Group. As mothers of children with rare, genetic diseases, Ryan and Amy recognized an opportunity to share their experiences and encourage other mothers raising children with rare and undiagnosed diseases. In 2011, the Hope Link Foundation was established to support this ministry. The support group remains the primary focus of Hope Link and encourages mothers all over Oklahoma through monthly meetings and social media.

Members of Hope Link have the opportunity to build life-long relationships through an annual retreat and family gatherings. The foundation provides opportunities to help members attend medical conferences and assists with meals and care baskets when their children are hospitalized. Hope Link positively impacts the community by attending local conferences and raising awareness for these rare diseases. The Hope Link foundation is run by volunteers and all contributions make a direct impact on the members of Hope Link.
