The American Gas Association (AGA) invites you to attend the 2014 AGA Executive Conference – our premiere "invitation only" event for energy utility CEOs and senior executives from across the U.S. This year's Conference will be held from Sunday, September 28 through Monday, September 29 at The Resort at Pelican Hill, Newport Beach, California. With the theme of Solutions for our Economy and Our Environment, this conference will bring together approximately 150 energy utility leaders to discuss critical industry issues that include the outlook of the mid-term elections; global and domestic natural gas markets; and what the future holds for natural gas technology, demand and utilities.
The preliminary program includes:
- Michael Murphy, political strategist and analyst for NBC News and Contributing Editor, TIME, to discuss American politics and the upcoming elections;
- The "Global Natural Gas Markets & Geopolitical Concerns" panel moderated by Dave McCurdy, AGA President & CEO with experts from the Eurasia Group and the Center for Energy Studies at Rice University;
- A "Myths, Truths and Direction of Domestic Natural Gas Supply" panel moderated by Marty Durbin, ANGA President & CEO; and
- A panel moderated by David Carroll, President & CEO, Gas Technology Institute on “What the Future Holds for Natural Gas Technology, Demand, and Utilities”.
The Executive Conference will open with an AGA Chairman's Reception for all attendees on Sunday evening, September 28. The all-day general session will be held on Monday, September 29 which includes a closing “Autumn Italian Street Festival” reception and dinner.
