The 2014 CFAS Spring Meeting is the inaugural stand-alone meeting of the new AAMC Council of Faculty and Academic Societies (CFAS). CFAS represents academic faculty within the governance of the AAMC and includes faculty representatives from all member AAMC medical schools and from member academic societies. The Council provides a strong faculty voice within AAMC’s leadership structure.

Being held in Nashville, the 2014 CFAS Spring Meeting will provide faculty leaders with the opportunity to identify critical issues facing faculty members of medical schools and academic societies; allow faculty to advise AAMC on those issues as they relate to creation and implementation of the AAMC’s programs, services, and policies; and, learn strategies for affecting change at their home institutions and organizations that can strengthen the core missions of academic medicine.

Academic and other leaders will help inform the lively faculty discussions planned for the meeting. Please join us in Nashville for what promises to be an exceptional meeting!
