The theme for the 2014 Group on Business Affairs and Group on Institutional Planning Joint Spring Meeting is Creating Opportunities Out of Uncertainties.The meeting will highlight many of the unique and innovative programs and processes at our institutions in this area.  Join your friends and colleagues for professional development workshops, plenary sessions, breakout sessions, and networking and social opportunities.  

There will be a pre-conference scheduled on April 29th on Leadership Development - Leading People, Resources and Yourself.  This is open to all-attendees.   There is a separate registration fee for the pre-conference meeting. You do not need to attend the GBA/GIP Spring Meeting to attend the pre-conference.  

Administrators and the Human Resources Interest Group will be meeting for a Networking Reception on April 29th from 6:00 – 7:30.  The people at our medical schools and teaching hospitals are our greatest asset. As administrators in our organizations, we have responsibilities to manage and develop staff, and/or we have responsibilities over all of human resources. Come network with your colleagues and discuss some of your most pressing personnel questions with your colleagues during this informal networking reception.  This reception is open to all attendees.

Who Should Attend:
Staff of medical schools, academic health centers and teaching hospitals who have responsibilities in the areas of:
 Institutional administration, with particular emphasis on financial planning, operations and departmental management, human resources professionals.
 Traditional campus planning functions such as regional and land-use projects, facilities planning, space allocation and management, strategic planning, program and business planning, or institutional planning.
