The 2014 North America Payment Card Security and Technology Symposium is an interactive forum to promote data security. This event brings together payment security and information technology experts to provide valuable insight on the latest cyber-attacks targeting merchants and how to best defend against these emerging threats.The two-day event will explore the rapidly evolving cyber security and payments landscape. Key segments of the symposium include topics on cyber security, intelligence sharing, fraud prevention, malware detection, and strengthening networks and Point-of-Sale (POS) environments. The event will also include discussion of the U.S. EMV migration and merchant readiness. The general session is open to merchants and acquirers and will begin at 8:00 am on Wednesday, July 23rd. Following the general session, Visa will host an acquirer-only workshop beginning at 8:00 am on Thursday, July 24th.We look forward to seeing you in Foster City, CA in July!

The event consists of two sessions.
July 23 - Day 1 - The general session is open to large merchants (i.e. Level 1 and 2), acquirers and acquirer processors. Merchants operating in the retail, grocer, hospitality and franchise segments are highly recommended to attend. Visa strongly encourages Chief Information Officers, Chief Information Security Officers, Information Security and Technology professionals as well as Risk personnel responsible for payment security and compliance programs to attend.
July 24 - Day 2 - The acquirer-only workshop is designed to provide acquirers and processors with additional training and insight on Risk and Acceptance related programs. Risk and compliance personnel responsible for payment security and compliance programs are encourage to attend.
