As coaches, we all know that in order to stay on top of our game, one has to continually develop and strive to to become better every day. But how do we do that? What do I work on? What areas should I develop? While expanding your horizons around technique, tactics and strategies is important, so too is the mental side of coaching. The CoachProTM is a state-of-the-art online assessment tool designed to identify a person's natural tendencies and helps to explain who they are and why they do the things they do. Everybody has natural tendencies and most of the time, those natural tendencies can be considered that person's natural talents. When a natural talent is used well, it becomes a person's strength. However, when a person overuses their natural tendencies, those tendencies can start getting in the way and limit their effectiveness. By becoming more consciously competent and self aware, coaches can learn how to modify their dominant (and natural) approach to suit the unique needs and preferences of the diverse athlete pool they work with and ultimately, increase their effectiveness. Barry Jansen, President - JansenHR, is a coach and leadership consultant with over 25 years of front-line experience working with and developing others, both in business and in sport. Space is limited for this session. Participants are expected to complete a CoachProTM profile prior to the session as Barry will be presenting and interpreting the results as a group. Each participant will receive their individual CoachProTM results and report (value $75) at the start of the session. Instructions to complete the profile will be emailed to each participant following their registration to this workshop.
