 Overview:

 

This annual conference is dedicated to the memory of Harriet Williamson, RN. Harriet was a nurse, a certified diabetes educator, and director of the conservative management for end stage renal disease for Kidney Care at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She was devoted to making a difference in the lives of people living with diabetes and kidney disease. 

 

 

Purpose: 

 

The purpose of this two day conference is to enhance the knowledge and clinical skills of nurses and healthcare professionals who care for patients and families living with diabetes and other co-morbidities.

 

Target Audience:

Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Dietitians, Social Workers, Diabetes Educators, and Pharmacists
