Plastics is taking a progressively more important role in the development of new vehicles, and automotive suppliers must be nimble in the use of materials, processes, and redesigned components that are helping define future vehicle production.
Plastics News’ second annual event, Plastics in Automotive: Driving Change, explored many of the issues, technologies and emerging trends influencing the automotive industry and focus on how plastics processors can meet the challenges of automakers to keep pace with the global market. This conference featured a cross-section of applications on different parts of the vehicles and identified how the needs of carmakers must mesh with the work of suppliers to keep pace with consumer and marketplace trends.
As an added bonus, attendees at the Plastics in Automotive Conference had the opportunity to attend two dinner sessions at Automotive News World Congress for an extra fee. Participants also received a ticket to Industry Preview Days at the North American International Auto Show.
