2016 Social Coast Forum a Success!

It was another successful Social Coast Forum. The mix of session types allowed participants to share social science tools and resources, to learn about and practice social science skills, and to discuss ways to integrate the social sciences into coastal decision-making. Feedback was very positive. 86% of those who completed the evaluation indicated they gained knowledge and skills that can be applied to their job and 89% were satisfied with the forum. Participants overwhelmingly appreciated the variety of sessions and the networking opportunities available throughout the week. They left feeling excited, invigorated, and hopeful, and with lots of ideas, new skills, and a broader network of colleagues.
