2016 State of the State Address on Georgia's Health Priorities
Dr. Brenda Fitzgerald, Commissioner, Georgia Department of Public Health
Dr. Brenda Fitzgerald, Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) will provide a State of the State Address on Georgia's Health Priorities. The lecture will provide an overview of the Georgia DPH health priorities for the state of Georgia including specific health problems and target outcomes. Dr. Fitzgerald will also discuss strategies in place to address these health problems and what needs to be done to improve the health and vitality of Georgia's residents.

Specific Lecture Objectives: By the end of this lecture, participants will be able to:
Target Audience: Public health professionals, health educators, program planners, nurses, pharmacists, physicians, academic faculty, trainers and educators from a variety of public health disciplines.
