The robust program features both GASB and FASB tracks designed to give participants an overview of college and university accounting concepts as well as a synopsis of the basic formats used by public and private institutions when presenting their financial statements. The concurrent tracks will also delve into the recent changes by GASB and FASB to accounting standards and the anticipated effects of those changes within the higher education industry. Attendees will be encouraged to discuss current relevant issues related to the practical implementation of the standards concerning financial accounting and reporting for colleges and universities. In addition to the featured tracks, participants will have a choice of a half day of GASB Small Business Cases or Key Performance Measures.
