The Ohio State Sports Medicine Concussion Symposium is intended for physicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, EMS providers and other medical and non-medical professionals who are responsible for the health and safety of athletes.Our unique panel of multi-disciplinary speakers will address a broad range of best practices in the identification and management of sports concussion, related research and return to play methodology. The symposium will blend speaker presentations, panel discussions and hands-on activity to emphasize the integration of science and practice.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to
Ohio State Sports Medicine is an approved provider of continuing
education for athletic trainers. This program has been approved for a
maximum of 7.0 continuing education units by the Board of Certification
for certified athletic trainers. The program is being reviewed for 5.0 hours of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) continuing education units.
This program has been submitted to the Ohio Physical Therapy
Association for approval of 7.0 continuing education hours for physical
therapists and physical therapy assistants.
