DOHaD extends a warm invitation to you to attend the 4th annual DOHaD conference to be held in Canberra, ACT on the 5-6 April, 2017.
This year our conference theme is “New Horizons: Towards the Prevention of Chronic Disease”, to stress the unique opportunity presented by interventions applied during early development to reduce the future risk of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and thus improve the quality of life of future generations.
Taking advantage of the meeting being held in Australia’s Capital City, we will place particular emphasis on raising awareness of DOHaD amongst politicians and policy makers, as well as the broader public.
As always we will have a strong multidisciplinary focus, with the goal of uniting researchers across the DOHaD field to address the major challenge of the growing public health burden of NCDs in our region.
