2017 GSAW Summary

The Ground System Architectures Workshop (GSAW), in its 21st year, provides a forum for the world's spacecraft ground system experts to collaborate with other ground system users, developers, and researchers through tutorials, presentations, working groups, panel discussions, and a poster session.

GSAW is a forum for space-related ground system experts to collaborate with other ground system users, developers, and researchers through tutorials, presentations, working groups, panel discussions, and a poster session.  This year’s theme is “Looking Beyond the Horizon,” which encourages you to start with a clean sheet, consider these advancements, look several years ahead, and present game-changing approaches to ground systems. Come share your new ideas, emerging technologies, lessons learned, and roadmaps to innovating away from the short-term incremental changes of the past. The community would benefit greatly by hearing about your needs, accomplishments, progress, and plans as we move to advanced architectures and innovative capabilities for the future.

The general workshop will be held at the Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel and will include international attendees. A classified session will be hosted on Thursday, March 16, at The Aerospace Corporation in El Segundo, with presentations up to the TS//SI/TK//NOFORN classification level accepted. All classified session attendees will be required to have a TS/SCI clearance. Note: Presenters are responsible for ensuring that all abstracts, proposals, and presentation submissions are cleared for public release by their respective organization.
