Dan originates and structures healthcare real estate financings have completed over $2.5 billion of transactions over a 15-year career. Dan has been with Capital One since 2011 and he was previously with CapitalSource Inc. from 2003 through 2011, where he originated and underwrote healthcare transactions including ABL, real estate and cash flow financings. Mr. Berger holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona where he graduated with degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Mr. Berger resides in Bethesda, MD with his wife Erin, and three children Colby, Lianna, and Blake.

Jeff Calk is a partner at Waller Lansden and manages the Real Estate Practice group consisting of 25 attorneys and seven paralegals. He practices in the areas of commercial real estate and general corporate law. Mr. Calk regularly represents institutional users of real estate in acquiring, selling, developing, and/or leasing real property. He has substantial experience in negotiating conservation easements. His recent experience includes advising healthcare companies in the acquisition and development of unimproved land for future hospital sites. Mr. Calk has represented the world’s largest hospital company in numerous transactions involving the acquisition, development and leasing of real estate. Mr. Camp brings over 20 years of real estate experience and leadership to the team at Hammond Hanlon Camp LLC. Over those years, he has served as a trusted advisor to a multitude of healthcare and real estate organizations throughout the U.S. on transactions involving medical office properties and portfolios of all types of healthcare real estate assets. His clients include many of the most recognizable hospital and healthcare systems nationwide with properties located in almost every state in country. In addition to hospital organizations, he has advised many seniors’ housing companies, as well as the nation’s top REITs, real estate developers and a broad range of companies that own and/or lease significant amounts of real estate. Prior to launching H2C, Mr. Camp was a Managing Director at Shattuck Hammond Partners, where he led the firm’s healthcare real estate group for over 10 years, serving on the firm’s board and management committee. His responsibilities included advising clients in: executing real estate transactions, such as sale/leasebacks, developer selections and single asset and portfolio dispositions; raising both debt and equity capital; and providing merger and acquisition services to companies in the real estate industry. Prior to joining Shattuck Hammond Partners, Mr. Camp was a founding member of Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal’s National Real Estate Capital Markets Group, where he specialized in the execution of healthcare real estate transactions nationwide. Prior to his tenure with Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal, Mr. Camp acquired development property as a member of the land acquisitions group of K. Hovnanian Companies, a top 10 publicly-traded development company, and practiced architecture with an east coast firm as a licensed architect in the State of New York. Mr. Camp received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.S. and B. Arch. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Andrew J. Lawler is a healthcare development partner at The Keith Corporation (TKC) with over 20 years of experience in development, consulting, planning, design and construction of public and private healthcare facilities valued at over $0.5 billion. His expertise lies in feasibility and planning, financial structuring, development planning and medical office space marketing and leasing. Prior to joining TKC, Mr. Lawler was the Vice President of Healthcare Development for the East Region of Lauth where he developed over one million square feet of medical space. His extensive experience also includes working for Hammes Company, one of the nation’s leading healthcare facility developers, as a senior development associate and regional manager where he was responsible for opening and managing their Atlanta office. He is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina and a professional engineer. He graduated with honors from The University of North Carolina with a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in real estate and finance. Having graduated magna cum laude from Manhattan College, he received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering.
David G. Park joined Novant Health in January, 2006, as Senior Vice President for Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Construction. At Novant Health, he is responsible for the growth within the real estate, design, construction, property maintenance, plant engineering, public safety and corporate transportation functions. David is accountable for the acquisition, development and construction of six greenfield hospital locations with two completed in 2010, two in 2012, two in 2014 and four currently in design/development. He was responsible for five major expansions on existing campuses and currently has three additional expansions in process, as well as, developing a 20-year master plan for the organization’s major campuses. David was involved in two sale/leaseback packages in excess of $100 million each and has been responsible for over $1.5 billion in capital expenditures in the past 11 years. Prior to joining Novant Health, David served for 20 years as the Executive Vice President and Division Manager of the Support Services Division of BB&T Corporation. He was responsible for all real estate, design, construction, purchasing, security and physical asset integration for over 100 mergers. David spent 10 years in the tobacco industry in the areas of inventory management; procurement of capital equipment; maintenance, repairs and operating supplies; and building management and operations in both the U.S. and Europe. He has also worked in the textile industry in raw materials, capital equipment procurement and plant expansion.
David holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Elon University. He chaired for three terms and now serves on the Board of the RiverRun International Film Festival. David is currently the President of the Old Hickory Council, BSA Board. He is past chair of the Winston-Salem Downtown Development Organization, the Committee Chair for the Piedmont Research Park Land Use and Properties Committee, the Chair of the White Incubator Foundation and has served on the Winston-Salem State University Foundation, CDL Board, the North Carolina School of the Arts Foundation Board, Winston-Salem Downtown Redevelopment Board, and several boards and committees in his church. David is a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.

Gordon brings over 17 years of medical real estate industry experience and has extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry's trends and challenges. Previously, he served in a variety of capacities that include finance, investment, asset management, business development and client relations.
Gordon has been a speaker and moderator at various industry conferences including the American College of Healthcare Executives, American Institute of Architects, Becker’s Hospital CEO Roundtable, Interface Healthcare Real Estate, RealShare Healthcare Real Estate and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He also served four years as co-chair of the prestigious BOMA International Medical Office Buildings and Healthcare Facilities conference during which it exhibited exponential growth.

John Stubbs began his career in the Raleigh-Durham area with Tri-Properties while attending Duke University. Six (6) months after graduation, John founded Davis Moore Advisors (“DMA”), focusing on tenant representation for corporate clients. After the merger of DMA and Corporate Realty Advisors (“CRA”) in 2001, John and Austin owned the vast majority of CRA, the Triangle’s leader in tenant representation services. John moved to Charlotte in 2005 to expand the CRA footprint, ultimately becoming a Managing Director with Jones Lang LaSalle after the targeted acquisition of CRA by Jones Lang LaSalle in October 2007. Over the past ten (10) years John has been one of the highest producing real estate brokers in North Carolina. Throughout this career, John has negotiated over 500 real estate transactions with an aggregate value of over $1 billion. John holds a degree in Economics from Duke University. He has lived in North Carolina his entire life except while attending high school in Massachusetts. He currently resides in Charlotte with his wife Erin and children Charlie, Teddy, Henry, and Caroline.
