2017 IWLA California Warehouse Labor Law Webinar

Summary

IWLA California Labor Law

Contract Labor in Warehouses and Changes in 2017:

What California 3PLs Must Know

Program Overview & Faculty

If you operate in California, you know just how much state laws and regulations affect your relationship with employees. The rules are changing – locally and at the federal level. What you don’t know CAN hurt you – and with changes in Washington, there is more to anticipate.

Join in this webinar as James Nelson, a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, provides an overview of new California laws impacting warehousing. You’ll leave with a better understanding of the strategic considerations for your business and workforce. Nelson will also discuss the impact of the election and possible changes to the NLRB as a result of the election.

About the speaker: James Nelson represents large motor carrier operators and the firm has expertise in warehouse law and tax accounting practices. He represents employers and ERISA plan fiduciaries in matters concerning ERISA compliance, fiduciary responsibility, collective bargaining, wage and hour, employee benefits, safety, discrimination, wrongful termination, and other labor and employment issues.
