Each October, the Annual Meeting is held. Locations have varied since 1999, when the first Annual Meeting was held in Nashville, TN. The Annual Meeting includes the induction of new members, special awards and recognitions, the member business meeting, and various standing committee meetings. Keynote and guest speakers are often invited to share insights on recent developments in the industry.
During the business portion of the meeting, the NAC President provides a report to the members on the operation of the Academy and then introduces the General Secretary and various standing committees to report on activities conducted during the year as well as future plans.
A hospitality room is set up as a location for spouses and members to relax and mix in a casual setting. They may also view and bid on items that our members have donated for auction. These items may include vacation homes, handmade quilts, etc.
