This spring, the Montana Nonprofit Association is proud to present its fifth Nonprofit Management Series in Livingston, Butte/Anaconda, and Hamilton. Each workshop in the four-part series focuses on an essential of nonprofit management: good board governance, strong financial management, bold strategic planning, and successful fundraising. Attend these day-long workshops and leave with the tools and templates you need to develop your organization into a stronger, more effective nonprofit.

MNA believes learning is deepened when peers learn together and we encourage more than one person from an organization to attend each training. The series is ideal for small to midsize nonprofits looking to strengthen and sustain their organizations, and is open to nonprofits of all missions and sizes. Board members, executive directors, and/or lead staff are all encouraged to attend these workshops to gain a deeper understanding of the practices, tools, and resources for effective nonprofit management.

Curriculum for the series is drawn from MNA’s comprehensive guide: Principles and Practices for Nonprofit Excellence in Montana. Participants will complete a Principles and Practices self-assessment before each workshop to help focus on top areas for improvement. Each workshop will include access to templates and policy examples to guide your organization’s development. The workshops are designed to facilitate a collective learning environment where participants from different organizations can share experiences and knowledge to learn from one another.

Due to local community support we are offering series workshops for as much as 50%  off of standard fees. Early bird registration will start at $45 per session for MNA members and include coffee and lunch. Early bird and special board member rates are available, so please visit the Fees tab for more information on event pricing.
