UT GeoFluids studies the state and evolution of pressure, stress, deformation and fluid migration through experiments, models, and field study. At our 2017 meeting, we will present 1) experimental results on mudrock behavior, 2) coupled geomechanical models of sedimentation, overpressure, and salt deformation, and 3) field studies. Consortium information is found on the UT GeoFluids website.
The meeting will start with an optional poster session reception on Wednesday evening. Talks begin Thursday and run through Friday at 1 pm. There will be an optional ninety-minute workshop on Thursday afternoon.
Be sure to book your hotel early as the room block does sell out. Details can be found on the hotel tab above.
