2017 - Visual Blended I-II

Course Description

This 3 day course is designed for organizations that require their personnel trained in the application of visual testing techniques. As well as covering all the theoretical aspects of this method, the course includes processes of improving visual inspection reliability and the use of a variety of visual equipment. The course satisfies the training hours needed for both Level I and II certification in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, ANSI.

What is Blended Training? - Blended Training divides each course into two components:

  1. Theory - taken online, using a computer or tablet.  The theory portion can be taken any time, at the technician's own pace prior to the In-Class Practical Training.
    • The online portion of the Blended training will be taken on our Worldspec portal.  Please forward your Registration Confirmation email to Parker Ray at parker@worldspec.org with your contact information and they will get you access to the appropriate course on the site. Click Here to access the Worldspec registration website.
  2. Practice - requires in-class, hands-on, supervised practical training.

Why Blended Training works.

  • The student only misses one or two days of work.
  • Instructors focus training on equipment and practical applications, rather than spending valuable class time on theory.
  • Overall cost is lower because employers only lose their employees for one or two days at a time, rather than a full week, reducing both lost billable time and travel expenses.
