Conference themes

Learning Objectives:

  • Share community resources and best practices for serving community clients and businesses through WIOA and coaching.
  • Understand the career pathway approach to align training programs and marketable employment opportunities as dictated by labor market information.
  • Collaborate with service providers from within regions for better resource sharing, event coordination and identification of local workforce needs.
  • Identify strategies for serving underrepresented or under-served clients in their service region.
  • Receive updates on WIOA and contribute to development and implementation.

Deadlines:

Register by July 14th to receive the Early Bird registration rate of $125. After July 14th, the registration rate is $150.
General conference registration closes September 11th.

We encourage you to submit a nomination for the 2nd Annual Academy Awards Brunch. For more information, please follow the menu option on the left. Nominations are due by August 8th.

  • The conference will be hosted at the Hampton Roads Convention Center, where history meets high technology with its historic maritime heritage.  The Embassy Suites will serve as the host hotel. Please click on the "Hotel Accommodations" tab for more information on hotel accommodations.
