2018 Department of Labor West Coast Symposium

Loyola College of Law-Institute for Continuing Legal Education, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Labor, presents a daylong program pertaining to worker’s compensation issues, the Longshore and Harbor Worker’s Act, and Longshore/DBA claims. The format consists primarily of speaker panels, who introduce worker’s compensation and admiralty topics of interest, followed by a discussion between the panel and audience. One of the presentations consists of a round-table discussion by administrative law judges. The program focuses on topics of special import to West Coast professionals. Last year’s symposium was accredited for 6.5 MCLE credit hours.
