2018 FTA Annual Meeting

INNOVATION IN TAX ADMINISTRATION

If you are a senior management state tax administrator or private sector specialist working with state tax administration policy, programs or technology, not to mention state tax law, make plans to be in Nashville on Sunday, June 3, 2018 for the start of the 2018 FTA Annual Meeting.

Yes! NASHVILLE! Most people who haven't been, want to go. Most everybody who has been wants to go back. Hiking. Music. Food. Camping. A REAL Parthenon. Songs. A metropolitan skyline that includes a Bat Building. People you can relate to. Stories. Stories about people you can relate to. Stories about people you can relate to set to song.

The Annual Meeting in Nashville is:

Just the place to re-energize your passion for tax administration (we know you have one or you wouldn't have read down this far).

Just the place to learn from your peers in tax administration.

Just the place to fill your ideas notebook.

Just the place to send your up-and-coming leaders for their first exposure to the experiences, lessons learned and creative approaches of their fellow tax administrators from agencies across the country.

Just the place to network with the only professionals in the world who share your unique responsibilities.

Explore the tabs at the left to get the rest of the details, and be sure to check back on the agenda page frequently as topics are being added daily. And here is your one hint about Wednesday: Plan to stay to the end of the conference. We've planned a special little something. We plan to send you back to the office with a powerful new skill — the ability to distill your messages, to communicate the essence of your goals and mission. You will deepen your creativity and refresh those key skills of collaboration and compromise ... in short, your workforce engagement will soon fly as high as that Bat Building.

And if you have a touch of fun, maybe the taxpayers won't care, just this once.

After all, you're in Nashville.

The Early Bird Gets the Discount

Register by May 22 to receive a $55 early-bird discount off the conference registration fee.
