2018 Kansas 4-H Ambassador Training


The 2018 Kansas 4-H Ambassador Training will be February 23-24 at the Rock Springs 4-H Center. The training is for for all county/district 4-H Ambassadors, ambassador advisors and Extension staff. However, the ambassador training is open to any 4-H member in the 8th – 12 grades. Local Extension offices may not be able to provide chaperones and/or transportation to this training. Check with your local Extension Office before registering.

The theme is: “4-H Ambassadors – Leadership on Target.” Exciting workshops include: True Colors, Targeting 4-H Leadership, Using Media to Promote 4-H, Leadership on the Mark, Making Quality Video Clips for 4-H, and Portable Leadership Challenges. There will be special workshops for all county/district advisors and Extension staff. Mr. Ben Hopper will talk on “Leadership Lessons from Hollywood Films.” Dr. Emily Lehning, Associate Vice President of Student Life, KSU, will speak on “Leadership on Point.” Cost is $114.00, and registration closes on February 8, 2018, 11:59 p.m. The fee covers all educational sessions, speakers, breakfast, lunch, breaks, and one night’s lodging at Rock Springs 4-H Center. Workshop numbers are capped, so don’t delay in registering
