Gina LawrieTrainer: Gina Lawrie (United Kingdom)

She has been a certified trainer since 1997 and integrated NVC into her practice as a consultant, coach and trainer in both personal and organisational development.  Being a facilitator of Open Space (OST), she recognized the synergy between OST and NVC and facilitated the first two giraffe conventions as well as other events since then. She may be best known in the NVC community for co-creating the NVC Dance Floors with Bridget Belgrave. This innovative method for sharing and practicing NVC is now translated into seven languages - http://www.nvcdancefloors.com.

Gina has worked internationally, introducing NVC to Australia, Singapore and New Zealand. She is an experienced assessor for certification with CNVC, and has trained on previous IIT's both with and without Marshall. From 2007 to 2012 Gina was a trainer with the NVC Training Institute, a collaboration of six trainers who offered in-depth residential retreats "Living Energy of Needs" worldwide. www.ginalawrie.co.uk

Robert KrzisnikTrainer: Robert Krzisnik, MS c. Psych (Slovenia)

From early teenage years I have been inquiring into the questions of meaning of life, the nature of existence and the ways of meeting each other in our innocence, at the heart level. The journey led me through studying Psychology, working as a psychotherapist for 12 years, and working as a trainer, facilitator for over 29 years, covering areas from spiritual retreats to business trainings.
Within the context of Nonviolent Communication I am most passionate about its spiritual and embodied dimensions and about conflict mediation. Besides NVC, most important explorations on my journey have so far been Soto Zen, Art of Hosting, Bohmian Dialogue, Contact Improvisation...
I am a certified trainer with CNVC, have been regularly serving as a trainer on 9-day International Intensive Trainings and 9-day European Intensive Courses, and have shared NVC in over 20 countries in Europe, Mideast, Asia, USA, Australia…
My permanent address is in Slovenia, a small country in Europe which used to be a part of a country that does not exist anymore, but still resides in my heart as the place where I grew up — Yugoslavia. I have given two TEDx talks, connected with Nonviolent Communication one in 2012 on Global Citizenship, and the other in 2013 on Personal Growth.

Yonmi LeeTrainer: Yonmi Lee (South Korea)

Yonmi Lee provides training, counseling, and facilitation/mediation in South Korea, Japan, and China. She has been sharing NVC since 2006 and became a certified trainer in 2012. She is a licensed counselor and a vice president for the The Korea Center for Nonviolent Communication.and a chairperson for the Korea NVC Mediation Association. She completed Doctoral course work of counseling psychology. She has also been teaching NVC and NVC mediation in several universities and working for family court as a mediator.

Yonmi has a vision for creating peaceful and playful school. She developed an empathy program for kids, entitled "If you go to the giraffe village” and also supported a pioneering elementary school to create “Giraffe village” where students, teachers, parents can get empathy when they need or when they have conflicts. It became a good model for resolving conflicts peacefully in schools, which now spreads out to 3 other schools in Korea.

Ian PeateyTrainer: Ian Peatey (Romania)

Ian was born in the UK and now lives in Bucharest, Romania with his daughter, wife and black Labrador. He also lived in Poland for many years, playing a part in the rapid growth of NVC awareness there. Together with Monica (his wife - also a Certified Trainer), he runs the Romanian Association for NVC which aims to be the focal point for bringing NVC to Romania.

Ian’s background is originally in the corporate world where he worked in financial audit and HR before embarking on a radical change of direction after discovering NVC in 2001. He was certified as a CNVC trainer in 2008 and integrates NVC into his business training, facilitation and coaching as well as offering NVC programs in personal development and for couples and parents. He is also a Solution Focus coach and a team coach for the Romanian part of the Team Academy network of ‘alternative’ educational approaches.

In his work he seeks to combine the transformational quality of NVC with the pragmatic and, despite their popularity, resolutely refuses to use puppets in his workshops. Though some close to him might disagree, he is also known for his humour!

Justine MolTrainer: Justine Mol (Netherlands)

Justine has lived in the Netherlands all her life. She is grateful for the way her three grown-up children raised her and still inspire her. After a short career as a teacher of English and 25 years of working as a speech therapist, she discovered NVC in 1998. She had searched for a way of connecting to herself and others that brings the heartfelt joy and inner peace she had heard and read about from several spiritual sources. In NVC she found the tools to be in this quality of connection.
She became a certified trainer and contributed to the setting up and growth of a Dutch NVC community. She wrote a number of NVC books two of which are available in English and other languages, Growing up in Trust and The Giraffe and Jackal Within. The first book is on raising children without punishment and rewards. Since it was published in 2005 she is invited to speak and write about this subject in the field of parenting and of education.

Justine did not have to go far to practice the attitude of nonviolence. She was assaulted in her home and since 2006 she has a relationship with a man who was in prison until 2014 for a murder that never took place. She shares her experience and the lessons she learns in her books on both subjects and in her lectures, trainings and coaching. Friends, readers and participants enjoy her calmness, her empathic listening, her authenticity and openness which helps them to live in peace with their own vulnerable selves. She developed these qualities also as a Zen-coach (trained by Kǻre Landfald) and in Heart Circles (a process currently used to awaken people around the world, concept of Tej Steiner).
