This year saw another successful Social Coast Forum! The mix of session types allowed participants to share social science tools and resources, learn about and practice social science skills, and discuss ways to integrate the social sciences into coastal decision-making.
Feedback was very positive: 96 percent of those who completed the evaluation gained knowledge and skills they could apply to their jobs, and 98 percent were satisfied with the forum. Participants overwhelmingly appreciated the variety of sessions and the networking opportunities available throughout the week. They left feeling excited, invigorated, and hopeful—and with lots of ideas, new skills, and a broader network of colleagues.
