2018 Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage

 

Event Summary

Join us for the 68th Annual Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage offers 165 programs over four days during the peak of the spring flowering season in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Professionally guided walks and indoor presentations explore the region’s rich natural and cultural resources.
Most programs are conducted on the trails in the park, while indoor programs are presented in the Mills Conference Center and GSMNP Sugarlands Training Room. All programs are held rain or shine. 
The pilgrimage headquarters is at Mills Conference Center in Gatlinburg, Tennessee where participants pick up pre-registration packets, register on-site, attend indoor programs, and meet for van departures.

REGISTRATION DETAILS AND TIPS

Please read carefully.

Before you begin the registration process, please look over the Brochure or Spreadsheet of Events and plan the days for each person you will register. Page 4 of the Brochure contains a good template for planning for each person.

Online Registration

Opens 10AM Eastern on Thursday, March 1st

A Registration Button will be added to the Wildflower Pilgrimage website.

Badge mail option is available this year.  Approximately one week prior to event, badges will be sent to the address provided.  If you will be traveling before this date, then please notify us at registration so we can send your badge early or to a different address.

Duplicate badges are NOT available onsite.

Onsite Registration 

Begins at 5PM Eastern Tuesday, April 24th at the Mills Conference Center in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.  

With onsite registration you pick up your badge and printed brochure at the registration desk.

Please come to registration desk with a plan for your registration, including 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd options as events may be sold out to online registrants.

Registering Multiple People 

Each person in your party needs an independent registration and schedule of events. Individuals can register separately, or one person can register everyone together with a combined payment. 

Please utilize your confirmation number provided to make any changes to your registration at any time prior to arrival.  

If your updated schedule differs from your badge, please provide current confirmation at the trailhead

Cancellation Policy  

We sincerely appreciate your support of this event and its mission to bring biologists and conservationists into contact with the public in one of the most biodiverse areas of North America.  Due to financial commitments to vendors, partners, sponsors, and facilities, refunds are NOT provided.  Fees will be used as a contribution to help support this event and keep it accessible to students and children. 

Donnations

Please consider making a donation.  We use them to offset the costs incurred by keeping this event free to children 15 and under and reducing the costs to high school and college students.
