"Due to the overwhelming success and interest from the 2017 BIDMC/Harvard Medical School Patient Lymphedema Symposium last November, I am delighted to announce the expansion of this years’ Symposium to be held at the Joseph B. Martin Center at Harvard Medical in partnership with LE&RN. The agenda on Saturday, November 3rd, has been extended to a full day of world renowned international faculty who will share and discuss the state of the art in lymphedema diagnosis, care and treatment.

The objective of the patient symposium is to educate lymphedema patients and their families about the cutting edge advancements of care, learn about new surgical and non-surgical treatments, hear the results of clinical research and trials underway across the globe, as well as network with other patients.

Whiting Theresa

The goal is for each patient to leave the symposium with new information to make an informed decision of their own future care and treatment. My personal goal, is for all attendees to be inspired by all the options available to patients as we continue to have hope, and a positive outlook on improved health with an overall sense of well-being.

I look forward to seeing you on November 3rd, 2018."
